Obviously when you shop in China you expect to understand nothing of what is written on the packets. Didn't you study Chinese for 7 years I hear you ask. Yeah I did. I still can't read half the ingredient lists when they're in English and I've been going with that for nearly thirty so cut me some slack. Anyway, basically for snacks at the moment, unless I feed my feed a constant flow of fruit I have no idea what I'm putting into them.
Recently I saw one of those videos come up in my newsfeed, you know the recipe ones that, never show any dirty dishes and all seem to be so glamorous. It was for biscuits that and the only wet ingredient was bananas. The other components was oats and the other was chocolate chips. So we swapped out the chocolate for sultanas and came up with these. And they are yum.
2 mashed bananas
1 3/4 cups of quick oats
1 tablespoon of honey
1 teaspoon of cinamon
add remaining ingredients
roll into balls
Bake at 180 degrees for around 10-15 minutes.
My halogen oven only takes 10 minutes, but just keep an eye on them.
